Bob ClampettBob Clampett was Tweety Bird's creator. Clampett was 29 years old when he directed his first Tweety Bird episode. The original name he gave Tweety was Orson, but it was later changed. Clampett created Tweety basing it off of one of his own baby pictures! Tweety was created in 1942 and made his first appearance in an episode called "A Tale of Two Kitties". This episode featured two cats named Babbit and Castello, who were based of comedians named Abbott and Costello. Clampett joined Warner Brothers animation department at the young age of 18. He not only created Tweety, but also Porky the Pig, Bugs Bunny, and many others. Before Tweety Bird debuted, Clampett had created a show called "Wacky Blackouts" which also featured little birds.
